This workshop is designed as a Prepatory Workshop for the inaugural PowHERtalks event in Nanaimo on Saturday 24 October 2015, 1-5pm at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre.

However, participation in the October PowHERtalks event is not necessary or a pre-requisite for attending the Prepatory Workshop.

PowHERtalks is a communication vehicle designed specifically to help committed, passionate women move their missions forward. At most speakers’ events, you are a Receiver – you receive education, information and inspiration. As a PowHERtalks audience participant, you are a Player. Each speaker will share her mission along with her “ask” – what she needs at this time to move her mission forward. This could be a referral or an introduction, mentoring or guidance, capital or access to an opportunity. Your role as a PowHERtalks Player will be to listen deeply and then consider how you might be able to help this woman achieve a PowHERplay – a strong, competitive boost that transpires by pulling together our collective energy, wisdom and connections.​
