The event will begin with a sunset walk through the farm to the dinner venue, with stops along the way for music and performances, as well as a taste of local food. After a short walk, guests will arrive at the dinner venue, a beautiful tent under the trees, and be seated for the main portion of the five-course meal.

The event is being organized by Connie Kretz, who grows vegetables on the farm, and produced by Heather Gordon Murphy of HGM Productions in Campbell River. Gordon Murphy's recent work includes choreography for the opening and closing ceremonies at the Vancouver Olympics.

"We aim to engage all of your senses and take you out of your normal everyday world for a few hours," said Kretz. "The event is also an appreciation for what we have here in our community. You will see it in the local food that we're featuring, including Pacific salmon, bison and vegetables grown on the farm, as well as in the local artists who are participating. We hope you can join us."
