Notwithstanding our conscious hopes and desires for our children, our unconscious programming; those things brought forward from our own childhoods that have not been effectively resolved and that we experience in our current lives as fears, blocks to happiness or as painful, will inevitably have an impact on our parenting and on our children.
In an atmosphere of acceptance and curiosity, with no judgment or blame, we examine and heal those places deep inside where the parent still feels like a hurt and frightened child. The patent, healed, is then free to create a relationship with his or her children in a new, loving and supportive way rather than creating yet another generation of hurt and frightened children.
