In this six sessions , learn techniques of Group of 7 artists like J.E.H. MacDonald, Lawren Harris and contemporaries like Tom Thompson and Emily Carr. In the age-old art college tradition students will learn by copying master works then develop their own works using these techniques, styles and palettes. Includes working from original masters in museum setting as well as studio sessions. You will come away with a greater appreciation of these renown Canadian artists and their works and techniques. As well, you will acquire a new set of techniques to enhance your own ongoing work.
