YOU ARE INVITED TO COME RUN AND CELEBRATE MOTHERS’ DAY 2019 WITH US IN PARKSVILLE
The Oceanside Mother’s Day 10K is back again with its favourite 10K Run through Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park plus the 5K Run & Walk along the Englishman River Estuary.
The 10K Run is a scenic course, part road and part trail, that winds through Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park and along the beautiful oceanfront.
This is the course to pick if you are a competitive or recreational runner. no walkers, baby joggers or stroller (see the 5K event below).
Medals and ribbons will be awarded to the first three in all the age divisions.
The 5K Run/Walk is back by popular request and loops through the Englishman River Estuary (road and trail).
This is the course to pick if you want to take more time, enjoy a shorter course or are a new runner looking for a personal goal.
It’s also the course to choose if you are a walker or will be pushing a baby buggy/stroller.
Awards will be presented to the first three male and female participants to cross the finish line.
Please note, you don't have to be a mom to enter! All runners are welcome!
This is a beautiful course to run with awards, great food and plenty of draw prizes!
This year the Oceanside Running Club is supporting The Haven Society, Forward House, Mid Island Distance Runners and PEO
