Yoga, U, Mindful Movement, Meditation Magic = YUMMMM! We have booked the magnificent Yoga Weyr for this mmmmagical day. This Sunday, October 23rd from 10:00am - 4:30pm U are free to come for as much or as little of the day as U feel moved to, or are able to.


We are joy-fully offering this day freely out of our love for these practices and invite that, to the degree that you feel moved to or are able to, you can offer back. Nia with Tristin: See description below Meditation with Mia: Mia will be guiding us in Kind-Awareness Practice.


Yoga with Julie Horwood: Julie will be guiding us through a restorative yoga practice. Schedule: (played in any way that is right for you) 10:00 - 11:00 Nia 11:00 - 11:30 Meditation 11:30 - 12:15 Walking meditation 12:15 - 1:15 Lunch break (Please bring your own lunch, microwave and full kitchen available.) 1:15 - 2:00 Meditation 2:00 - 3:00 Restorative Yoga 3:00 - 4:00 Nia 4:00 - 4:30 Closing We will be celebrating sacred silence throughout the day other then when we are dancing. We really look forward to sharing this experience with you in this beautiful space. Nia is: a danced fitness class that draws from the martial arts, dance arts and healing arts to make a complete mind, body, emotion and spirit movement practice. Nia is typically danced barefoot and is choreographed to soul stirring music.


You are encouraged to move in your bodies way always seeking joy, comfort, pleasure and ease. If any of the movements do not feel good you modify, adjust or just don't do it. The most important aspect of Nia is to just have fun and move your body in a joyful way to the music honouring and respecting where your body is at in that moment. Nia is for any level of fitness and no experience is needed.

Directions for Yoga Weyr: 1990 Frey Rd. Nanaimo. From the Trans-Canada HWY (1) go east on Morden Road which is just south of the Duke Point Ferry turn off. (There is a Gas-N-Go on the west side at the lights) Take the first right turn on Main Road. Follow this road and it will turn into a dirt road.
