Let's begin the day gathering and organizing a car pool to a wooded area lush with nettles. There we will fill bags and baskets and return to cook, community kitchen style, nettle soup, nettle buns and nettle spanokopita. A full-on island potluck follows with all manner of song and story built around our guest of honour, the Nettle. Young and old will find a place in this day of celebrating community and nature.
