Nanaimo Women's Cancer Support and Networking
add to outlook add to google calendar remind me
Whatever cancer you have and whether you are just diagnosed, in the middle of treatment, recovering from treatment, or a long term survivor, the biggest gift you can give yourself is being part of a group to discuss concerns and success stories with women who know what you have gone through as we are all sisters who have all shared similar experiences.
Our focus is on providing a safe, confidential, supportive place to share your experience, and to facilitate information exchange and education (guest speakers, etc). We have trained facilitators through the Canadian Cancer Society and this group adheres to the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and personal responsibility. Our goal is to help you with your issues but to also have positive meetings endorsing friendships.
