Fall dance classes for Beginner Ukrainian dancers ages 6 - 13 will be Tuesdays at 6:30.
Fall dance classes for Intermediate Ukrainian dancers ages 10 - 18 will be Wednesdays at 6:30 pm.
We welcome all heritages to learn these energetic and graceful folk dances and dancers do not need to be Ukrainian to join. The boys classes focus on athletic leaps and footwork while the girls focus on fast footwork and graceful patterns. The costumes are elegant and stunning. The registration day for fall 2019 will be Sept. 4th. New students will meet with the teacher to determine the best class level for him/her.
We are inclusive of special needs but these classes are not suitable for children with behaviour disruption issues.
There will be a colourful spring dance concert in Nanaimo which will show the magnificent costumes worn by the dancers.
