The Nanaimo TeenFest will be happening Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Maffeo Sutton Park, 10 Comox Rd., Nanaimo. The event starts at 11:00 AM and goes until 5:30 PM.

This one day FREE exhibition, for youth ages 12 to 18 years, and their families, will give teens and tweens in the Nanaimo area opportunity to connect with each other, their peers, their communities and community leaders.

By creating opportunities for interaction, activities, workshops and performances for this age group, TeenFest will engage and connect our youth, their families and the businesses and organizations that support them.

Life & Education How do you figure out what you want to do with your life? Thinking about career paths? Interested in expanding your interests? In the Life & Education area of the TeenFest you will be able to speak with educational institutions and learn more about your interests � from farming to music to writing and dance.. and everything in between!

Cool Stuff A teens dream! Hang out in, check out the latest smart phones and technology gadgets and meet some cool Special Guests all while listening to a DJ spinning some awesome tunes.

Fashion & Beauty Everything from hair and makeup to interactive nail art demonstrations to fashion photography! Get your nails done and your hair twisted into an up-do, pose for a photo shoot with your friends, check out the latest fashion trends, learn about the newest spa services for teens and so much more!

Health & Wellness Here you�ll find everything from nutritional information to sexual health to physical fitness and sports. Learn about nutrition, explore holistic health options, get the resources to stay physically and emotionally healthy and learn about a variety of local organizations to help you navigate your teen years.
