Bethlehem Centre is inviting the public to explore and go within. Cacao Ceremonialists, Tanner and Kristin, founders of Cacao Connection, will hold a Sacred Cacao Ceremony & Mantra Chanting Circle to open up the heart chakra and ignite the light within your heart. The ceremony will last approximately four hours, beginning at 2 pm Saturday, March 30, 2019, continuing until 6 pm at 2371 Arbot Rd. in Nanaimo.

Cacao is known as a food for “The Shift” and this gentle plant medicine works specifically with the Anahata Chakra or Heart Centre. Cacao can gently support and guide the participant toward what needs love and attention deep within, while strengthening love and gratitude.

The Cacao Ceremony begins with a warm mug of Keith’s Cacao, a ceremonial grade Guatemalan cacao elixir (pure chocolate medicine). The sacred space will be enhanced and deepened with the healing vibrations of Crystal Singing Bowls, singing, chanting, drumming, guided visualization, meditation, conscious conversation and more.

The public is invited to dress comfortably in layers, bring a water bottle, bring a favourite large mug for your cacao elixir (needs to hold 10oz. / 1.5 cups), a yoga mat, blanket, cushions, eye mask/cloth for guided portions of journey. - Be cozy! Please also bring a small offering of gratitude for the altar (flower, stone, fruit, seeds, candle, etc.). Optional: Bring a journal if you are a note taker. There will be ceremonial grade cacao products available for purchase at the event.

This gentle inward discovery journey will take place on Mt. Benson in the woodlands by the lakeside at beautiful Bethlehem Centre. While visiting make sure to experience the serene quiet at Bethlehem’s outdoor labyrinth during your visit, it’s always open and well worth the indulgence. Accommodation is available throughout the week and on weekends but fills up quickly. Reservations are recommended.
