Gentle Outdoor Free Music Jam Circle for shy beginners and advanced players Teens, adults, seniors..

Teens and youth ages 14 - 19 are especially invited to join our outdoor, relaxed music-lovers circle. We mostly play pop, soft rock, folk, country and bluegrass.

Chord instructions are given and plenty of experienced adult music coaches are on hand.

We take turns around the circle and everyone has the option to pass but singing or playing is our collective gentle goal.

Connecting with others through music will improve your mental health. We hope you will join us. The first time is the hardest but you will be so happy you stretched yourself.  Music is meant to be shared, not hidden away in a small room alone and we hope you will join us.

We make plenty of mistakes and we learn to laugh at ourselves in our nervousness. Family members are encouraged to attend and join in the singing or also bring an instrument if they have one.

Bring your water bottle, folding chair if you have one, music stand or device, music instrument and your willingness to learn.

You will leave with some new chords to work on after each music circle jam. If you need to borrow a guitar or ukulele, please let us know. There are some generous musicians willing to share and encourage others on their journey.

The music circle jams are FREE to CVSAG members and the cost is only $15 per year for membership. If this is a hardship, please attend the music circle jam anyway and we will sort it out.

The music circle jams are held once a month, usually the second Sunday from 3:30 - 6:00.
