The Oak Bay Beach Hotel is thrilled to once again welcome back a long standing tradition of big screen releases to the community through our regularly scheduled Tuesday movie nights in the David Foster Foundation Theatre.

Enjoy critically acclaimed movies and experience the drama with friends in the comfortable luxury of Victoria�s newest movie house. This month we have selected a couple movies featuring unique hotel narratives as well as more recent features that will be sure to please.

Enjoy gourmet individual pizzas*, house-made buttered popcorn and ice cream sandwich for dessert. Purchase one of our micro-brews, fine wines or favourite libations, sit back in our movie chair seats and enjoy Tim's Vermeer on our big screen, amongst friends for $24 per person + tax.

Tim Jenison, a Texas based inventor, attempts to solve one of the greatest mysteries in all art: How did 17th century Dutch master Johannes Vermeer (�Girl with a Pearl Earring�) manage to paint so photo-realistically. The epic research project Jenison embarks on to test his theory is as extraordinary as what he discovers. Spanning a decade, Jenison�s adventure takes him to Delft, Holland, where Vermeer painted his masterpieces on a pilgrimage to the North coast of Yorkshire to meet artist David Hockney and eventually to Buckingham Palace, to see the Queen�s Vermeer.
