The Oak Bay Beach Hotel is thrilled to once again welcome back a long standing tradition of big screen releases to the community through our regularly scheduled Tuesday movie nights in the David Foster Foundation Theatre.

Enjoy critically acclaimed movies and experience the drama with friends in the comfortable luxury of Victoria�s newest movie house. This month we have selected a couple movies featuring unique hotel narratives as well as more recent features that will be sure to please.

Enjoy gourmet individual pizzas*, house-made buttered popcorn and ice cream sandwich for dessert. Purchase one of our micro-brews, fine wines or favourite libations, sit back in our movie chair seats and enjoy The Lunchbox on our big screen, amongst friends for $24 per person + tax.

The film, set in Mumbai, revolves around a mistaken delivery by the Dabbawalas (lunchbox service) of Mumbai, which leads to a relationship between Saajan, a lonely widower close to retirement, and Ila, an unhappy housewife. As they start exchanging notes through the daily lunchbox they build a fantasy world together through notes in the lunchbox. Still strangers physically, Ila and Saajan become lost in a virtual relationship that could jeopardize both their realities.
