Mothering Touch: Sibling Preparation Workshop

Amidst the excitement of preparing for a new baby, this class offers a unique opportunity for your family to celebrate the new brother or sister, answer their questions and prepare them for the journey ahead.

This class suits children ages 3 to about 8 or 9.

This class discusses normal labour using scientific terms in a way that younger children can understand. We cover what babies need and like and the new role of big-brother or big-sister in the family and how they can help with the baby. We also discuss how life will change and what can be done to make that okay.  Depending on parents’ preferences we may show a video. The class will end with making a craft for the baby.

Schedule: 
Friday evening from 5pm to 6:30pm
