Dip a toe in your future. Express a current mood. Cultivate a dreamworld. Delve into your next big creative project. Or, just take some time to have fun & glue shit on paper!

Spend an afternoon in a cozy and creative setting: bring a friend, meet new ones, or just take some space to create.

Our first ever Moodboards & Mimosas event is a chance to be crafty and connect with like-minded souls in the community. We believe connection comes in many forms, whether it's having a deep conversation with lots of eye contact, or peacefully sitting side-by-side while you create.

Moodboards are a vehicle for creatively realizing a vision. That vision might be a goal for 2020, an imagined future, a dreamscape or alternate reality, an aesthetic, or a creative project you've been dying to work on but you've just needed some focused time to get inspired. In this cozy setting, you will have a chance to create whatever inspires you even if that means creating for the sake of creating - no purpose required!

Come grab a drink (one mimosa provided, tea and coffee available), some crafting supplies, and get gluing! We invite you to bring photos, postcards, magazines, or a handful of stuff from that crafting bin that sits in the corner. We all have one.

The Schedule

11:45am - Registration. Grab a drink and get settled.

12:00pm - Manifest your future or creative vision

2:00pm - Wrap up! 

How To "Moodboard"

1. Don't get hung up on the name - you can call it a vision board, dream board, or simply a collage.


2. Choose one of the coloured poster papers provided or bring your own notebook if you'd like to make a smaller version or keep your work private.


3. Peruse a curated collection of magazines, books, scrap paper, paint and more and choose your materials.


4. Grab a pair of scissors, a glue stick, and enjoy the process!  

What is a Dismantled Event?

Dismantled is a community-building endeavour. We aim to create a space - both physically and in the digital sphere - where people can freely create and express, without pressure, personas or expectations. We strive for openness, connection, and creativity in our community and in our content. We host events that encourage these open conversations and support established and emerging leaders create impact in their communities.

Venue details

• The event space hosts up to 20 guests and seating will be provided.


• The space is accessible only via a narrow staircase with one railing.


• One washroom is located in the suite; no accessible washrooms are available on-site.


• Street parking is available and there are a variety of parkades to use in the downtown core.


• Snacks and non-alcoholic refreshments will be available and will cater to a range of dietary needs (gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, nut-free). An ingredients list will be available.
