“Monday Blues” is one of the Nanaimo Disc Golf Club’s regular weekly leagues that runs during Spring through Fall at Bowen Park. Everyone is welcome to play, whether you want to drop-in one time or play weekly for the entire season. All skill levels welcome.

How it works

Disc Golf is played much like golf, but with Frisbee discs thrown to a metal chain basket, instead of golf balls and clubs. We play 18 holes of disc golf from the blue teepads at Bowen Park and the idea is to try to throw the disc into the basket with the fewest number of throws.

You’ll learn the rules as you go, and we have a friendly group of disc golfers who will help teach you.

Drop-in any Monday night in April through September (until the Fall time change) Arrive a bit earlier to sign in and we will get everyone into random groups of 4

Meeting place: Hole 3 at Bowen Park, which is located beside the first parking area accessed from Bowen Road at the Auto Chek Automotive entrance.

What you need

One disc – we can provide you with a disc for the round, just let us know ahead of time Wear the shoes & clothes you would normally wear on a walk or hike, and bring some water with you.
