With her sultry tones and soulful singing, Edie Daponte is establishing a reputation within the music scene of British Columbia as a dynamic and engaging performer. Edie has performed at festivals including the Victoria Jazz Festival, Tango Festival and Vancouver Latin Festival.
Emotive and passionate, Edie's voice lends itself perfectly to a wide range of jazz standards, seamlessly moving from bossa nova to jazz and and back again switching between Portuguese, Spanish and French language numbers with ease. Accompanied by the talents of Joey Smith on guitar and Kelby MacNayr on drums the trio plans to deliver some exquisite music.
