Listen Up! Drugs Are Killing Your KIds. An Open Mic Panel Discussion on the lethal drug situation in our communities. In partnership with Nanaimo Ladysmith Schools and the Port Theatre, the Nanaimo Chapter of The Compassionate Friends have assembled a panel of experts to discuss this issue. On the panel are representatives from SD68, RCMP, Youth & Family Substance Services Discovery - VIHA, VAST, Edgewood Treatment Centre and the Regional Coroner.
Also in attendance will be Floyd Wiebe, a speaker on the issue of drugs and gangs, who will be speaking to local students in the afternoon.
Questions will be accepted from the audience.
