Misinformation and fear are now the norm surrounding hormone therapy. Now, more than ever, women and care providers are confused about the risks and benefits of hormonal therapy for menopause, and answers can seem elusive. Dr. Rodgers will help clarify the evidence and dispel the myths, helping women be their best selves as they navigate menopause.

This workshop is appropriate for women, men who care about women, and health care providers. Join Dr. Tracy Rodgers, Obstetrician Gynecologist for a humorous and informative discussion about menopause and perimenopause. A member of the North American Menopause Society, Dr. Rodgers is passionate about the empowerment of women through information and education, helping women make informed choices as they navigate hormonal changes throughout life.

This two hour workshop will cover the basics of hormones, review the evidence about hormone replacement therapy and alternative therapy while separating fact from fiction. She will also discuss sexual and emotional health during and after menopause. Learn what is "normal" as women navigate menopause.

Tickets are $20 and are available at The Women's Clinic, Secret Drawers, and The Broken Spoke, all located in downtown Courtenay, or purchase with cash at the door.
