Chef Bowen�s two-and-a-half day in-depth course will show you easy gourmet ways to prepare, cook and serve seafood. You will learn the secrets to selecting the freshest seafood and how to prepare it in recipes that are simple, versatile and delicious.

The West Coast Cooking School, is a fun environment with hands-on learning. We focus on healthy, fresh, local organic food. Our aim is to empower our students. We de-mystify food because we make things simple, fast and easy. When you come to one of our courses you will learn professional restaurant techniques and gain newfound confidence and ability in the kitchen!
Chef Peter Bowen is a Red Seal Chef who moved to the west coast as a young man and started his culinary career. After many years of running high-quality restaurants on Saltspring and Vancouver Island, he became a culinary arts teacher in Cedar, BC. This led to his mission to �teach as many people to cook as possible.� His recent 5 Minute Gourmet project has led to over 70,000 views on YouTube, and Huffington Post named him one of the Top Ten Chefs to follow on Twitter. Chef Bowen is pleased to be offering courses through the West Coast Cooking School, a wonderful way to expand your culinary adventures!
