Ladysmith Youth Cooking & Gardening Mentorship Training

Is your youth looking to earn a bit of income and gain employment skills and experience this summer? If yes, this Ladysmith Youth Employment/Skills program might be a perfect fit. This cooking and gardening program is for Youth ages 15 - 19.
Tuesday program is offered in Ladysmith for youth from Saltair, Chemainus, North Oyster, Diamond, Cedar, Yellowpoint, Ladysmith and surrounding area. The Thursday program is for Stz'uminus students only.
There is no cost to attend this gentle July/August program for shy youth which offers garden harvesting, food preparation and cooking with a Red Seal Chef.
Youth get to eat the delicious meal they make!
Youth may earn an honorarium for their participation.
Certification workshops offered in Foodsafe, First Aid and WHMIS.
There are 3 spots remaining out of 10 for this youth program.
The summer schedule is still being confirmed.
