?In  6 half day sessions of ‘Drawing in Paint’ — learn how to draw in paint, transitioning from dry mediums to oil painting. In addition learn an intro to underpainting technique known as ‘grisaille’ an important painting technique used before applying colour glaze to produce masterful oil paintings. It is the natural extension of the full-value dry-medium drawing. Includes work with oil paints and brushes on canvas board. Where drawing turns into painting! Enjoy easy, step-by-step lessons focused on learning a realistic drawing style.

In this course students will also receive additional drawing supplies, individual portfolio reviews and ongoing critique in an intimate class setting. Six sessions ‘Drawing in Paint’ is part of Ken Campbell’s fine art DRAWING FOUNDATIONS SERIES that teaches classical-style drawing in 6 courses.

Each course is 15 hours of class time plus assignments that focuses on learning traditional drawing skills in a step-by-step, fun way. Developed for small classes—based on years of art college teaching and professional studio practice—the goal is to have students producing realistic drawings in a few weeks and great drawings over the series of 6 courses.
