The Comox Valley C.G. Jung Society presents " Jungian Dreamwork Lecture: Creative Expressive Approaches to Working with Archetypal Images. "

The speaker is Joel Kroeker.  Joel is a registered clinical counsellor, music centred psychotherapist, international workshop facilitator of archetypal music psychotherapy, as well as international recording artist touring with True North Records.  He is currently completing his Jungian Psychoanalyst training in Zurich, runs a clinical practice in Victoria, and teaches at various universities across Brazil and North America.

This experiential presentation will illustrate various approaches to working with dream images through the use of music and the expressive arts and will introduce a new method called Archetypal Music Psychotherapy.

Joel will also discuss individual and group dreamwork, including archetypal images and ordinary dreams, cross-cultural aspects of Shadow, Hero and Trickster, Musical Active Imagination, Perception as a creative act, the relationship between Psyche and Creativity, bridging the gap between words and image, and tracking the Dream through the Body.

This is the first lecture of the 2014-2015 Jungian lecture series and we are looking forward to this most fascinating topic.  The lecture will be held in Room 203 of Tyee Hall.  See you there!
