Strathcona Symphony Orchestra’s Musical Director and Conductor, Helena Jung, wanted to take audiences on a melodic global trip since travelling during COVID has been so difficult. The SSO’s December performance, titled “Journey around the World" offers concert goers a wide range of musical selections from Chopin’s Polonaise, Verdi’s Introduction and Drinking Song from La Traviata to La Bamba and American Music Awards K-Pop stars, BTS and their hit song, Dynamite.
Members from the North Island Choral Society will also join the SSO to sing some well-loved carol favourites and modern holiday selections arranged by John Rutter.

Provincial COVID protocols are in effect for all SSO concerts.
