DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:<p>Strathcona Symphony Orchestra&rsquo;s Musical Director and Conductor, Helena Jung, wanted to take audiences on a melodic global trip since travelling during COVID has been so difficult. The SSO&rsquo;s December performance, titled &ldquo;Journey around the World" offers concert goers a wide range of musical selections from Chopin&rsquo;s Polonaise, Verdi&rsquo;s Introduction and Drinking Song from La Traviata to La Bamba and American Music Awards K-Pop stars, BTS and their hit song, Dynamite.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Members from the North Island Choral Society will also join the SSO to sing some well-loved carol favourites and modern holiday selections arranged by John Rutter.</p>=0D=0A=
