“ONE MORE TIME” ….
Is a phrase we sometimes hear when a band is *HOT”…and everyone wants to linger a bit longer with that feeling. That’s the feeling we remember from last years concert with CanUS Jazz band… and we want to feel it “one more time”.
Leader/piano lady Toni Blodgett tells us that all is well in Jazzville Victoria, “The band plays on” .… every other week at Hermon’s (newly revived) Jazz Club. Loyal fans, new listeners and DANCERS keep things swingin throughout the year. New to this stellar ensemble is Victoria reed man Al Peas (clarinet & tenor). Newly retired from the HMCS Naden Band Mike Broadley (trumpet wiz) is now free to focus on fun. Doug Rhodes (top man on bari, alto sax and vocals). As usual, the every faithful Joey Smith (bass) and first call drummer Don Leppard driving from the back seats.
Come and share our annual mid-summer musical garden party.
Along with the cows, you too may find contentment.
