Enjoy a light lunch in Regency style, featuring live music by the Regency Players & performance by the English Country Dancers to complete the ambiance. Regency attire appreciated. Tickets $15 by reservation only, before April 12!

MENU: A variety of teas, plus savoury and sweets treats that were Jane Austen's favourites. Sandwiches on local bakery bread: ham with Dijon mustard; cucumber & cream cheese; devilled egg with parsley; sockeye salmon with dill. Desserts: traditional British scones served with raspberry jam and cream; Regency almond slices; chocolate-dipped cream puffs.
While you enjoy these pleasures of the table, the Regency Players orchetra will complete the Regency ambiance with period music, and the English Country Dancers will perform dances that Jane Austen and her friends enjoyed.
This Regency Afternoon Tea is the first in a series of "Jane Austen Festival Days", celebrating the life, times, and writings Jane throughout the year. These Festival Days are presented by the Central Vancouver Island Region (based in Port Alberni) of the Jane Austen Society of North America (JASNA). JASNA brings together all who share an interest in Jane Austen, her works, and the Regency period. We welcome you to join us, gentlemen and ladies all!
