Enjoy a delightful evening of Regency elegance, with the graceful, flowing movements of English country dance as Jane Austen and her friends might have done. To enhance the experience, Regency attire is preferred.
No dance experience and no partner needed – instruction will be provided for those new to this type of dance, with a focus on fun, easy-to-follow dances. The Regency Players chamber orchestra will provide live music. Dances will be called and instructed by Rosemary Lach of Victoria.
Tickets $20 each (includes refreshments)!

This Grande Regency Candlelit Ball is another in a series of "Jane Austen Festival Days", celebrating the life, times, and writings of Jane throughout the year. These Festival Days are presented by the Central Vancouver Island Region (based in Port Alberni) of the Jane Austen Society of North America (JASNA). JASNA brings together all who share an interest in Jane Austen, her works, and the Regency period. We welcome you to join us, gentlemen and ladies all!
