Introduction To Arboriculture

This two-day course will introduce students to the world of Arboriculture. These two action-packed days will prepare and inform students of the work place requirements for an entry ground level position within an Arboriculture career.
Instructed by Gareth Tudor-Jones, Bartlett Tree Experts.
Topics which will be touched upon include:
• Basic tree ID and biology
• Chain saw and hedge trimmer safety and maintenance
• Brush chipper operation and safety
• Rigging and knots for ground usage
• Use of Arborist hand tools.
Students please bring your own person protective equipment, paper pen and a lunch.
• CSA approved steel toes boots
• Safety glasses
• Ear protection
