These two action-packed days will prepare and inform students of the work place requirements for an entry ground level position within an Arboriculture career. <br /><br />Instructed by Gareth Tudor-Jones, Bartlett Tree Experts.<br /><br />Topics which will be touched upon include:<br /><br />&bull; Basic tree ID and biology<br />&bull; Chain saw and hedge trimmer safety and maintenance<br />&bull; Brush chipper operation and safety<br />&bull; Rigging and knots for ground usage<br />&bull; Use of Arborist hand tools.<br /><br />Students please bring your own person protective equipment, paper pen and a lunch.<br /><br />&bull; CSA approved steel toes boots<br />&bull; Safety glasses<br />&bull; Ear protection</p>
