Who is invited?

Parents, their children, prominent leaders in our community and the general public. (Some singing �animals� have also been invited. Let�s hope they come J)



Children - Enter our colouring contest online and win eco-prizes or be part of creating a mega-mural of your ideas for a sustainable world in your own space at the event.



Featured Speakers:

� Dr. Peter Carter, MD, Founding Director of the Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment will speak on the environmental challenges we face today and how families can lead the way to solutions.



� Betska K-Burr, Behavioural Scientist and Best-Selling Author, will speak on alkaline vs acidic diets, healthy food choices and our belief systems around food.

� Julie Johnston, BA, BEd, MAdEd, a leader in transformative Education for Sustainability will speak on �Green Families, Compassionate Schools�.



� Jessica Sedlock, Victoria�s own 2009 North American Biathlon Champion, currently training for the 2012 Summer Olympics in UK, will talk about how her vegan lifestyle has contributed to her athletic success.
