"Live your legacy" is the message from Robb Lucy, the next Saturday Speaker for VIU ElderCollege.
This exciting interactive seminar will be at Nanoose Place on Saturday March 18 from 10am to Noon. The cost is $10 cash, at the door, $5.00 for university students and free to high school students.
The guest speaker is Robb Lucy who is the self styled "Legacy Guy" and author of "Legacies Aren't Just for Dead People". With wit, fun and stories he dispels the myths about legacies: that you have to be rich, famous or dead to leave a legacy. He talks about how to get started on creating and enjoying legacies and asks his audience "How do you want to be remembered?". Lucy's message is "don't leave a legacy, live a legacy". This presentation is for anyone who wants to feel proud of their life; more connected to others; and happier.
ROBB LUCY was a journalist with the CBC before forming his own company, producing mixed media for corporations and governments around the world. He spent 25 years on the local, national and international boards of Make-A-Wish Foundation and he also writes a blog for the Huffington Post.
Robb Lucy's book "Legacies Aren't Just For Dead People" will be available for purchase.
