Original west coast fiddle music blended with favourite songs old and new
Former Protection Island resident Trish Clair-Peck is celebrating the release of her second solo instrumental CD, "Providence." Recorded on Protection Island with David Essig, it features many new original fiddle compositions as well as favourite tunes from the Irish, American, and Quebecois traditions. Trish is joined on piano by Geoff Horrocks of Ottawa, Ontario.Geoff has earned a reputation as one of the premier pianists in the Canadian fiddle community, and is also quickly becoming recognized for his vocal performances of standard ballads of the 1930s to 1950s. He has recorded, produced, and performed on CDs by several artists.

With Bill Lockie, Stand-up acoustic bass
�Betty Johnson (Vernon) born and raised in Montreal into a musical
family, is known for her expressive voice and accomplished guitar
playing. Her performances are emphasized through acoustic jazz,
blues and originals. Audiences love her ambient exploration and
re-styling of beloved familiar tunes. Her latest CD, �Water Ring�
available� at the concert .
�Bill Lockie moved to Salmon Arm, BC in the 1970�s where he began
playing bass in country rock, swing and, dixieland bands. He also
performed in musical theatre productions in Salmon Arm, Vernon
and Penticton. His warm intensity and infectious love of jazz shines
through as a wonderful asset .�

Chef Cory will feature a special buffet at the Dinghy Dock Pub (approx 6:00 p.m.) followed by the always great Don Thompson (classic blues guitar)
& Norm Lowden (classic blues harp) (approx 7:30 p.m.).
