Former Protection Island resident Trish Clair-Peck is celebrating the release of her second solo instrumental CD, "Providence." Recorded on Protection Island with David Essig, it features many new original fiddle compositions as well as favourite tunes from the Irish, American, and Quebecois traditions. Trish is joined on piano by Geoff Horrocks of Ottawa, Ontario.Geoff has earned a reputation as one of the premier pianists in the Canadian fiddle community, and is also quickly becoming recognized for his vocal performances of standard ballads of the 1930s to 1950s. He has recorded, produced, and performed on CDs by several artists.=0D=0A=
