Housing policy expert and veteran advocate Michael Shapcott of the Wellesley Institute in Toronto will situate local conditions in the context of a national perspective on housing and homelessness funding and insecurity, and will also outline how business can play a crucial role for change.

The session is sponsored by UVic�s Office of Community-Based Research and the Faculty of Human and Social Development, Greater Victoria Coalition to End Homelessness, Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Business Association, United Way of Greater Victoria, City of Victoria and Community Council.
