Ayurveda is a ancient healing practice that creates balance on all levels of our beings. We are so much more than our physical bodies, and true health and happiness flows as we embrace the different layers of our energy bodies. 

This will be an experiential class- We will start with an hour of talking, sharing and learning- we will follow it with an 90 minute Healing Light Yoga Class. This is a restorative class available for ANY body and All levels of yoga students. 

In this class some of the things we will explore:

1. The Chakra's- Connecting with their energy, understanding their purpose, and the relationship they have to our entire being. 
2. The Kosha's- Insight into all of the different layers of our being from the Atman (Bliss Consciousness) to the Annamaya (physical)
3. Healing- Learn practices to both clear and balance the being, enlightening the chakra's and the auric body.
4. Yoga Asanas and Pranayama for the chakras- Learning The Healing Breath and creating flow in different energetic areas of the body. We will also learn about mantras that can help to balance the chakra's.

About Asrael:
Asrael is an Ayurvedic Practitioner, and Yoga Teacher based in the beautiful Cowichan Valley. She is a graduate of New World Ayurveda, studying under Dr.Paul Dugliss, and is also on their faculty. Her training includes specialized intensives in Ayurvedic Energy Healing, Pancha Karma, Jyotish Astrology, and Ayurvedic Yoga. She has spent many months in India, immersing herself in the culture and the knowledge available there as well. Asrael runs her own Ayurvedic Healing Practice, where she focuses on expanding consciousness; working with all the different koshic layers, from the physical to the spiritual to create balance and bliss for all.
