For Beginners and Advanced Artists, this series will be an exploration of painting using different styles and techniques. Each student will be encouraged to work in their preferred medium and own individual style to improve on artistic skills used in their work. The instructor will work to ensure each student receives individual attention with their own work.

Fundamentals of colour theory, composition, perspective, paint handling and application will be covered, with oil, acrylic and pencil. Some materials will be included to try new mediums. Bring what you have to start with and be encouraged to explore. This is an 8 week session, but with sufficient interest, will be offered for a further session.

Lilian has experience teaching art for over 8 years in the Town of Richmond Hill, Ontario. She is a recipient of a number of awards for various art mediums. She was a member of the Board of Directors and teacher liaison with Richmond Hill Group of Artists. She was also a mentor with Mentorship in Motion Program with McMichael Gallery. Lillian has acted as a juror for numerous art events in Ontario. Lilian Ghazarian (BFA) It’s never too late or early to START making ART.
