Gala for Tanzania Missions

Our Grade 12 Missions class invites you to their Gala for Tanzania Missions on Friday, February 21, 2020, at Northgate Church, 1640 Burgess Road in Courtenay. You will enjoy a delicious full-buffet dinner prepared by Plates Catering as well as live music by Christy Vanden throughout the evening. Plus there will be an auction featuring antique furniture and professional art! Doors open at 6:00 pm and dinner begins at 6:30. Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased online by clicking the following link, at the school office or from any of our grade 12 students.

For viewing the antique furniture prior to the event, come to the school at 1475 Noel Avenue in Comox between 9:00 am-3:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Each year, graduating students of Phil & Jennie Gaglardi Academy have the opportunity to participate in a missions trip to Africa. This will be the 7th year of sending students to work in Tabora, Tanzania, with Juma's World, an organization that works in partnership with Tanzanian community leaders to empower orphans, particularly through the arts. In order to experience this trip, students raise funds throughout the school year with various events and service projects. This dinner is the major fundraiser for our students.
