Street party in the parking lot! Join the Gabriola Arts Council as we celebrate and honour the island’s great artists—and those who love them. The lot will be swarming with your favourite Gabriola artists. Come on down and show ’em some love!
The Fifth Annual Arty Award will be given to the Gabriolan voted most valuable Player in the Gabriola Art Scene for 2014—visit www.artsgabriola.ca to nominate your favourite, or drop off your nomination form at the WI Hall when you register for your workshop! Past recipients include celebrated Gabriola artists Sheila Norgate and Tammy Hudgeon, the inimitable Kathy McIntyre for her work with the Gabriola Arts Council, and Jim Wilson-Storey, courageous founder of the Gabriola Theatre Festival.
