The Comox Valley Head Injury Society is pleased to announce our 18th Annual G & B Johnson Brain Injury Conference:

Caring for Caregivers: Connecting Local Resources to Promote Caregiver Wellbeing in the Brain Injury Community and Beyond

In recognition of the important contributions family caregivers make to brain injury survivors, the challenges they experience and the need to support family caregivers in the community, the 18th Annual G & J Johnson Brain Injury Conference seeks to:

�Build knowledge, enhance skills and empower caregivers through educational activities that provide caregivers with insights and tools to benefit their caregiving and personal wellbeing
�Provide caregivers with practical information to support their short and long-term planning needs and considerations
�Connect local caregiver resources, enhance personal and professional networks and promote knowledge exchange in the local/regional caregiver community

The conference will appeal to a diverse cross-section of people from the family caregiving and brain injury communities, health care and social service sectors, as well as researchers and many others. Survivors of brain injury may also benefit in learning about local service providers.
