Ascension, as taught by the Ishayas, is a simple process of turning the mind inward.  Using the techniques of Ascension eyes open or eyes closed easily allows the mind to come to rest, so that life can be lived much more effectively.  Unlike most meditation techniques, there is no controlling or concentration of the mind. Ascension is a tool that unites the abundance of spiritual knowledge with the direct personal experience of living it in your relative day-to-day world. The immediate effects of Ascension are tangible and cumulative.  Awareness expands beyond the daily routine of habit and thoughts are less chaotic and repetitive.  The mind and body begin to function clearly, intuitive impulses increase, and the outlook on life becomes less burdened by expectations and limitations.
