Join us on the shores of Westwood Lake, at the foot of Mount Benson, for a time of rest and refreshment, conversation and prayer, in the company of other men.

According to the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C., the longest single autobiography in the Library of Congress belongs to Francis of Assisi. A new manuscript, monograph, novel, or biography is entered at a rate of one a day. More than any single individual who has ever lived!  Endlessly attractive, Francis was a universal man before the new pope took his name – and now even more so. Eight centuries later, what might St. Francis’ life and teachings have to say to us about being men today? Saturday, October 4 is Francis’ feast day.

Come and spend a weekend in community with other men, learning together from Francis about compassion, simplicity, and care for the earth.

“Gracenomics” is a pricing structure that helps make the programme affordable to people of differing economic means. Pick one of the three options below. If you are willing and able to pay a little more than the listed price, please do, as that will assist someone who needs to pay less (If you pay extra and that money is not needed to defer someone else’s expenses, your money will be refunded).

Option A (Residential): Room, six meals and programme = $339.00
Option B (Commuter 1): Six meals (includes breakfasts) and programme = $249.00
Option C (Commuter 2): Four meals (breakfast not included) and programme = $229.00

* In order to assist with travel costs from the mainland I will help arrange carpools and/or pickups from the Nanaimo side.
