Open call gallery exhibition. Celebrates Earth Day and the Centennial of the Migratory Bird Convention Act and Canada’s 150.
The region’s youngest artists were invited to submit artwork to celebrate BIRDS this EARTH DAY! Individual artists, groups and classes (school or rec centre) have taken part in this opportunity to show off their creativity. Sprout wings! GREAT PRIZES! Groups of children, and entire classes from the Greater Victoria area have participated in collaborative submissions.
We are pleased to welcome a wide variety of work celebrating the amazing variety of local birds along with the many birds that enjoy our coastline for seasonal migration. Opening reception Saturday April 22, 2017 at the Coast Collective Art Centre
