There are no shortage of "good causes" this time of year but who can support them all? What if you could help a great cause by saving money to eat good food and having a great time in a unique venue.

Every Friday in December 2013 and January 2014, the Protection Island Ferry service will be giving round trip ferry transport to the Dinghy Dock Pub for a donation to the Loaves and Fishes Food Bank.
Simply bring your donation of a "reasonable" non-perishable food item or a cash offering to the Protection Island ferry. The skipper will collect it as your fare and that's all there is to it.
In one action you have paid your ferry fare, helped out those who are less fortunate and set yourself up for a great outing.

Please remember that this is for a good cause so each person must bring a donation for the fare. We have had people open a package of gum and give out the individual sticks to get passage for a group.

We believe every little bit helps but please keep your donation respectful and beneficial to those who will be receiving it.
