add to outlook add to google calendar remind me
Model with “clay” and end up with a fine silver object! Students will be introduced to the basics of working with this innovative material. Construct flat and hollow forms, produce pieces using your own “custom made” press moulds, try additional forming methods, and experiment with a variety of “implants” (synthetic stones, china shards, fin silver wire, etc.). Learn about the different types of metal clay, their most suitable applications, and their particular sintering/firing requirements. Finishing techniques and surface enhancement options will also be covered.
