DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:<p>Model with &ldquo;clay&rdquo; and end up with a fine silver object! Students will be introduced to the basics of working with this innovative material. Construct flat and hollow forms, produce pieces using your own &ldquo;custom made&rdquo; press moulds, try additional forming methods, and experiment with a variety of &ldquo;implants&rdquo; (synthetic stones, china shards, fin silver wire, etc.). Learn about the different types of metal clay, their most suitable applications, and their particular sintering/firing requirements. Finishing techniques and surface enhancement options will also be covered.</p>=0D=0A=
