Events at the Vic Theatre: May 28th: We Will Barolo You Over (5pm) Barolo wine tasting and Italian cheeses from Ottavio paired with the stirring documentary Barolo Boys: Story of a Revolution May 29th: Big Night (6pm) Savoury Italian salumi--cured meats--and vino, paired with Venice Film Festival award-winner The Dinner (I nostri ragazzi). May 30th: Dolce Vita (1pm) Discover a taste for the good life with Italian dolce sweets paired with deliciously dark Fernwood espresso and the hilarious Bewined (Vinodentro). Champers (7pm) Amp up your chic factor and "taste the stars" at a Champagne tasting paired with fascinating documentary A Year in Champagne. May 31st: Red Meat and a Bottle of Gin (1pm) Tantalizingly juicy steak samples from The Village Butcher and a gin martini pair perfectly with the captivating Steak (R)evolution. At de Vine Vineyards: May 30th: Go Peru! (8pm) Enjoy a de Vine Vineyards wine tasting while Chef Castro Boateng prepares a Peruvian picnic, followed by a screening of the inspirational documentary Finding Gaston. At the Oak Bay Beach Hotel: May 31st: Brunch of Dreams (11am) Experience this exquisite dream brunch and a mimosa paired with the incredible culinary experiment in The Dream (El Somni).

At the Mary Winspear Centre: May 31st: A Taste of Sidney (5pm) Sample from the best restaurants and wineries in Sidnay and on the Peninsula at a Grand Tasting, followed by the sweet comedy Trattoria.
