add to outlook add to google calendar remind me
The fava beans need to be picked from the field and shucked!
Meet your local community and fava lovers and get your gardening questions answered. What are fava beans? They are larger than a string bean and the rest you have to come and find out! Another name for them is broad bean…
Please wear closed toe shoes, bring a water bottle and a hat as it can be hot out there! There will be shady tasks as well, jobs for all ages and abilities.
You’re welcome to bring a lunch as we sit around chatting about favas after we are done picking the crop. Kids welcome!
You will be going home with knowledgeable fava bean information, recipes, gardening advice, and 100 grams of fava beans (purples ones excluded) to plant in your garden for greens, beans and soil health.
