Heritage Acres in Central Saanich will be transformed into a Halloween wonderland, with artistic installations, costumed performers, live music, Halloween crafts, festive food and treats, creative lighting and projections, which will enliven every beautifully weathered corner of this heritage-farm setting.

This delightfully eerie event is brimming with enough festive fun and entertainment to make it a treat for visitors of all ages. Enchanted Halloween is presented by Shine*ola Communications and Events with Children's Health Foundation of Vancouver Island (formerly the Queen Alexandra Foundation for Children). Net proceeds will benefit the Foundation�s Bear Essentials Program, which provides funding for families to cover unexpected or extraordinary expenses related to their child�s health.

Enchanted Halloween at Heritage Acres highlights include:

- Unique art installations including many new themes: The Gross-ery Store, Haunted Bookcase, Ghosts of the Pioneers, Through the Looking Glass, as well as popular favourites from previous years like �Eye Spy� in the General Store, a Mexican-themed �Day of the Dead� display and more.
- Train rides by Vancouver Island Model Engineers
- A decorated Trick or Treat trail, featuring interactive costumed characters
- Specially carved pumpkins, handcrafted lanterns and illuminated giant puppets
- Creative projections, lighting and special effects
- Halloween-themed games, hands-on activities, kids' crafts and seasonal refreshments Musicians, magicians, stilt-walkers, performers and storytellers to add life and richness to the displays and activities
- Food vendors, craft tables, treats and surprises
- Free parking and shuttle service

Admission:

Standard advance ticket prices are: $9.00 for youth and seniors, $12.50 for adults, and $36.00 for a family of two adults and two youth. Children 4 and under get in FREE. Tickets can be purchased online at http://childrenshealthvi.org/events/enchantedhalloween.

Tickets purchased at the shuttle/gate (if available): $10.00 for youth and seniors, $15.00 for adults, and $40.00 for a family of two adults and two youth. Children 4 and under still get in FREE.
